How often do you read indie books?
This is the second book that I’ve read by B. T. Harris, and I love his world building. This novel has many things going for it, including fantasy elements, fight scenes, love, adventure, etc., but the setting is what truly brought me in. I could see Aufterra and Griffinglass so clearly. The details of Bear’s Tongue, Igor’s other form, and the magic also make the setting feel more alive.
There wasn’t a moment when the plot didn’t move forward; it was an entertaining read. I could feel the story slowly building towards the final battle, and when I got to it, I was left wanting more. It seemed to fly by too quickly. I wanted to see more of each of the characters too, and when I read the next book in the series, I will!
