Awakend by Hydrus

Awakend is written by an onymous poet under the pseudonym of Hydrus. This is a very unique poetry collection in that the book incorporates tarot cards of not only pictures and themes but also the structure of the book as well. The first half of the book, you read to the right. The last half, you flip the book over and finish reading the remaining poems. The poems themselves were splendid as well. I’m a huge fan of rhyming poetry, and thought the lines flowed like a river.

I’m giving Awakend 4.5 stars because I noticed a few typos, but other than that, I enjoyed reading his poetry and would recommend it to other poetry readers!
